The LNOBT Open Festival invites you to discover Vilnius through stories about music. This year, a new route linked to the festival programme awaits us. The musical path will take you through bustling streets, mysterious courtyards and even old riverbeds. We will draw a musical arc from the seventeenth to the twentieth century, talk about the famous personalities of those times and visit their houses and monuments. We'll also visit the musical palaces of noblemen and places associated with genius wunderkinds. We'll discover how one legendary musician prepared for a date with his future wife, and who are the ones everyone hears but no one sees. Our trail winds its way through the New Town and along the city's old defensive wall. We will start our walk at the main entrance of the Opera and Ballet Theatre and end at the facade of the Basilica of the Cathedral. It will take between one and a half and two hours, which won't take long. Let's experience musical discoveries together!
