Vincent Moon LIVE CINEMA is a performance that improvises with live images and music (on stage and in films) and searches for new forms.

Each performance is a unique combination of film and music, based on recordings from Vincent Moon's Petites Planètes collection, partly in collaboration with writer and researcher Priscilla Telmon. All performances are site-specific, so that a new film is created each time on site.

Vincent Moon is an independent French filmmaker and radical sound researcher. He was the main director of the famous online BLOGOTHEQUE project "Take Away Shows", which records music videos of indie rock musicians as well as some famous artists.

For the past ten years, Vincent Moon has been travelling the world with a camera in his backpack, documenting local folklore, sacred music, trance ceremonies and experimental music for his publishing company Collection Petites Planètes, always releasing his material (more than 1,000 films so far) under open-source licenses on the internet.
