Event description
Gabija Jaraminaitė is undoubtedly one of the most active contemporary Lithuanian actresses who creates roles in cinema and is appreciated by both Lithuanian and foreign directors. This programme features four short films starring G. Jaraminaitė, whose roles are united by the maternal faces Gabija embodies. A mother who is not at home all day; a mother who sees her family as a tool to achieve the image of her dreams; a mother who uses her children as an excuse; a mother who asks to wait until she is...a mother again. All the mothers in the films would be criticised by the public, but the actress creates these roles without external judgement. In this way, the audience has the opportunity to understand them better and to be convinced once again of Gabija Jaraminaitė's multifaceted talent.
The programme is curated by Andrė Balžekienė.
