For the first time in a new way, a duet by Vytautas V. with his son Jonas (guitar, electronics).

The programme includes new music by Vytautas V. Landsbergis and Jonas have new songs, folk ballads arranged live by Jonas and poems from the latest book "DIENANAKTIS".

"For a long time now, I have wanted to try something new and different, something that would be a challenge, and something unusual for me myself in concerts. I was looking for a partner, a good instrumentalist, who could accompany, extend the new songs - for example with percussion or electronics. And suddenly I realised that I had such a partner at my side - my son Jonas, and I didn't have to look far. Especially since we do a lot of creative work together - in children's theatre and film camps, Jonas writes music for my films, illustrates children's books. And now we'll be performing together." -

And it's nothing really new, because that's the format that started everything on stage in the past. Some twenty-five years ago, Vytautas celebrated Vytautas Day at the Teachers' House, and the organisers decided to invite all the possible singing Vytautas, starting with V. Kernagis, and they invited Vytautas V. Although he had only sung for himself and his friends, he agreed to give it a try that time. As the singer himself remembers: "I sang about five songs, three of my own, two folk, with the help of my son Jonas. He was about twelve at the time, and at that time, as far as I remember, he had already finished his violin studies at the "dvarionka", and had switched over to classical guitar there. That was the first public concert I (and we) gave, and the only one so far.
