Warhaus, one of the most prominent names in music from Belgium, is returning to Lithuania
Ausys is happy again. Another new name has been added to the summer concert calendar. It has been confirmed that Maarten Devoldere's very beautiful solo project from Belgium "Warhaus" will return to Lithuania on 1 June. A nice continuation of the concerts in the Grand Courtyard of Lukiskes Prison. Another well-known name from abroad, another exclusive concert of the music agency 8 Days A Week in the capital in the open air.
Maarten Devoldere is one of those Belgians who turn his work to the wide foreign waters. You can see this name popping up in various projects such as Warhaus and Balthazar. Maybe that's why he's doing well not only in Belgium, but also elsewhere.
He's doing well in Lithuania too. "We see Maarten every summer - it so happens that his other famous project Balthazar played at the first 8 Festival, and Warhaus came back for the second festival. One of those rare occasions when you didn't have to look for anything and ask for it, and Warhaus knocked on your mailbox. It really didn't take long to consider! During the festival, it was agreed that we would organise a full-length Warhaus concert at Lukiškės Prison. How could we not agree?", said Martynas Butkevičius, a partner of the music agency 8 Days A Week.
An interesting detail is that after the Warhaus performance in the prison, the fans of the festival also insisted on it. "GOAT! Bring the full show soon!", wrote Deividas Budginas on Facebook. "Listen to this man!", reinforced Deividas's comment by Ardas Dapkus, another sworn "Warhaus" fan.
"Bring them again", asked "Warhaus" fan Aiva Bieliniene. "I bought a ticket for Sunday just because of them and oh my gosh how worth it!!!!", Donata Raugala continued her exclamations of admiration.
It was only a matter of time before "Warhaus" would confirm a new date in the calendar. This songwriter and musician from Belgium reminds us of himself all the time. Both in words and deeds. And music! "Warhaus" live, the beautiful Lukiškės Prison stage, and hopefully good weather. It's all very nice, on time and in a special place that suits them very well indeed.
Presale will be up and running from Tuesday. Let's go!
