One of the most eccentric British bands Warmduscher is coming to Lithuania
We've been waiting for this British band in Lithuania for a long time too! "Warmduscher is all about parties, adventures and good times. These inspiring and electrifying Brits are coming to the capital and on 13 August they will give a concert in the courtyard of the Lukiškės Prison that will be so big that it will not be a big hit. It's going to be a serious party, the first time they've been here and a refuge from the everyday. We have no doubt it will be a crazy good gig!
The Independent calls Warmduscher Britain's most eccentric band, and they are right. It's likely to be one of the most fun gigs of the summer season. An open air party guaranteed! They are busy and discerning, so it's really great that they have finally made time for their fans here.
If the name Warmduscher is new to you, congratulations, you are in for a treat of discovery. "The best way to get to know us is to see us live. there are no shows like ours. We understand how the music business works and always give 150 percent. We are a real party band. If you haven't heard us, you'd better shut your mouth, buy a ticket and see us live," says frontman Clams Baker.
Warmduscher will appeal to those who like Viagra Boys, Squid, Black Country, New Road, black midi, Do Nothing, Snapped Ankles, Amyl and The Sniffers, Fat Dog and other musicians with a close sound. It's great that most of them already know Vilnius. The quality and relevance patter in 8 Days A Week's concert offerings and calendar is quite clear.
They introduce themselves as follows: "We are a group of very different talented musicians and entertainers who have dedicated our lives to music and nothing else. What others think of us is up to them." It's all or nothing!
Warmduscher is not another random band. Music critics are going crazy trying to name what they play. Even the band members themselves shrug their shoulders when they hear this question. "Warmduscher are best appreciated live - their energy and level of craziness is something to behold. They also remind us a bit of the Swedish punks Viagra Boys, who shook the walls of Lukiškės Prison a few years ago.
The BBC, Yannis Philippakis from Foals, Marc Riley and Iggy Pop himself have all paid attention to them, which is saying something. We wish everyone to discover and experience them live.
Presale will be switched on on 13 December at 10am.
Stay in the queue!
Advance concert matters
Advance tickets are always cheaper. Tickets for Warmduscher's show in the capital will go on sale at 10am on 17 December, but die-hard fans of the band in Lithuania can buy advance tickets now. However, you need a code from "8 Days A Week". Post a message on Facebook or at www.8dw.lt to get the special code and more money in your pocket.
The presale will open on 13 December at 10am. Codes will be valid for a very limited time. The presale closes on 17 December at 10am. Don't sleep!
A classic of the genre - the cheapest tickets will be enough for the fastest.
We encourage you to make sure you get them in advance.
Tickets are limited.

Warmduscher thinks that the music industry is too serious and proposes a simple solution to this - let everybody loose. They live proudly in their own la-la-land, and their formula for success is chaos and a bohemian lifestyle.
Leisure is the engine of Warmduscher. But that doesn't mean they don't take things seriously. "Fun gives you a lightness of touch that allows you to trust your own feelings as musicians, which helps you to experiment and create," say the members of Warmduscher.
About Warmduscher
Warmduscher was formed on New Year's Eve 2014. Members from bands such as Fat White Family, Insecure Men, Paranoid London, Curser and Childhood sat down together at a New Year's party to play together and couldn't stop. A year later, they released their first album, Khahi Tears. "The best breakable rock'n'roll", wrote Louder Than War about Khahi Tears' album and the band's debut. Today, Pete Doherty's own Strap Originals label is behind them.
Nothing has broken, and 10 years later, Warmduscher is even bigger rock 'n' roll.
Warmduscher's frontman, Clams Baker, has a tattoo on his arm that reads: "Nazi punks f*** off" is worthy of a special mention. More than one person in the music world calls him a must-see character. Despite his mother's wishes, Clams did not choose a career in the army, but he fights every day in a different way and opposes everything that is too polished and wrong. As a child, he saw James Brown flirting with his own mother in person and was inspired in a way that is still true to this day.
Just a month ago, the new 11-track album Warmduscher was released. Too Cold To Hold ambitiously mixes twitching punk rock, hypnotic gqom (that's South African house music), hip-hop, jazz, punk, funk and even disco. The album also features collaborations with James Planet from Confidence Man, Lianne La Havas, Jeshi and Coucou Chloe. The result is Warmduscher's most self-produced, personal and ambitious album to date. It has been received very positively by music critics. The BBC named Too Cold To Hold one of the best albums of the year, while The Independent named it one of the most poignant depictions of the turmoil of the 21st century.
"We wanted Too Cold To Hold to represent ourselves. The album doesn't just give people what they want, it gives them what they need. When we came back from tour, we wanted to use the energy we brought back from the live shows in a creative way and not drown it in another hangover," says the band's bassist, Ben Romans Hopcraft, about Too Cold To Hold. He also mentions that hangovers can sometimes open up the creative flow.
"Almost all the stories on the album are stories I've experienced myself or heard from others. They are stories that people can identify with. I don't like to explain," says songwriter Clams.
"Warmduscher" is a must-see live. Really cool guys from cool South London. You could go on and on about the band, but the feeling is best illustrated by the video and audio catalogue - well, if you haven't seen them live. "Warmduscher get all the attention when they get on stage, making the most of every second and every inch of the stage. It's impossible to ignore them or to leave the concert indifferent. Just wait and see what Warmduscher will come up with on the Lukiškės Prison's big stage, which suits them perfectly.

Another classic concert is waiting for us in the big yard of Lukiskes Prison! They deserve to meet live and have such a big concert in the capital. Warmduscher will be welcomed by our own Warmduscher band - local support is already being strategized.
We are very much looking forward to it, we invite you and we recommend it!
