YUKARIUK SUMMER STOP - A GREAT OPPORTUNITY TO LEARN ABOUT JAPAN

The special culture of the Land of the Rising Sun is a topic of interest for many. The camp leaders - true experts and enthusiasts - will be happy to share their knowledge and experience with the children!

We will learn Japanese ethics and order, talk about Japanese traditions, festivals, myths, history, theatre, children's life and much more; try on traditional Japanese clothes; try calligraphy, origami, kirigami; make ikebana bouquets from flowers found in the meadows; taste Japanese tea, and learn a little bit of Japanese language and writing; and even make sushi ourselves!

In addition to learning about Japan, we'll also spend a lot of time outdoors. The farmhouse where the summer camps take place is located away from the streets, surrounded by forests and meadows, with a lake nearby. We will explore the surroundings, go for walks and get to know the local plants and animals. We will rest our heads from school and the usual rhythm of life.

• COST: 375 EUR (100 EUR advance fee, payable at registration + 275 EUR camp fee, payable 2 weeks before the start of the camp session)
