A young man from the small town of Podolsk was suddenly arrested and brought to the police station without any explanation or charges. However, the police representatives are in no hurry to let him go and begin a strange interrogation that looks more like an erudition test or an absurd psychotherapy session. Unrelated and completely inappropriate questions are asked during the survey. How many people live in Podolsk? What do you see out the window on the way from home to work? What color are the walls of the hallway in your apartment building?
Complete absurdity or frightening reality? But anyway, everything leads to rethinking his life as the main character...
Director Georgijus Surkovs about the performance after the premiere in 2019: "The play interested me with its absurd plot - it's an incredible, poignant story with an important message about how we don't notice the life around us, we miss it. It's not talking to the police, it's talking to yourself. Those thoughts that can change something for us are very bright, strong, sometimes rude. When we ask ourselves very tough questions, then we can change something in ourselves. When we compromise with ourselves, we don't change anything."
