Sonata of the Stars Concert - an unforgettable musical journey with pianist Johan Randvere (Estonia)
Johan Randvere is a pianist whose talent and charisma has conquered not only Estonia, but also the world. Regularly performing in prestigious venues such as New York's Carnegie Hall, Randvere is renowned not only for his solo performances, but also as an exceptional chamber music artist.
The 3rd International Piano Competition of the International Academy of Music in New York, the International Chamber Music Festival in Prague and the International Chamber Music Festival in Prague. K. Čiurlionis Festival, will feature rarely performed classical works, with a special highlight being M. K. Čiurlionis' Sonata in F major, which is likely to be performed for the first time in Palanga. The programme will be complemented by works by other composers: Erkki-Sven Tüür's modern and dynamic Sonata, Richard Strauss and Percy Grainger's Love Duet from Der Rosenkavalier, Maurice Ravel's delicate Pavanca and the playful Water Play and Frederic Chopin's passionate Fantasy in F minor, Op. 49.
