After a great success and an extremely large and diverse group of spectators, the "2nd International Music Festival in Kupiški" is back!
In the months of August-October, the festival will once again invite classical music lovers to gather together and will surprise not only the wide variety of musical genres, but also the abundance of professional performers.
During the festival, the voices of the most famous representatives of Lithuanian classical music, the sounds of professional orchestras and the piano will be heard in the attractive, historical places of Kupiškis and its district, and on the closing day, everyone will be brought together by a concert of the original project "Kupiškėnai is back".
The goal of the festival organizers is ambitious - to reduce the cultural divide of the residents of the Aukštaitija region, to promote and nurture the creativity of Lithuanian artists, to build international relations, to popularize modern art and to revive old musical traditions, giving the residents the opportunity to participate in professional art concerts. Ambassador of the festival, artistic director - Vytautas Lukočius, conductor, director of the "Vilnius Sinfonietta" and VDU chamber orchestra, laureate of international competitions.
