Every year on the third weekend of July, Žagarė is the noisiest and most welcoming city in Lithuania, which is warmed by music enriched with the aroma of cherries, songs, respect for the centuries-old historical past, hugs from long-lost friends, smiles shared everywhere, pride in one's homeland.
in 2022 the Žagarė cherry festival, which is already "coming of age", is scheduled for July 15-17.
