In the program: arrangements of works by composers of various periods in rock style
DAGAMBA, an ensemble of five contemporary musicians brought together by the well-known cellist Valteris Pūces, will bring new winds, even a whirlwind, into the orbit of the festival! The ensemble creatively fuses various musical cultures into a mixture of world rock, pop and classical music to create a unique and powerful sound, a dynamic performance that leaves no one indifferent. Whether they're playing Beethoven or Led Zeppelin, they'll put everything into a frenzied pulse, wrap it up in stylish clothes. DAGAMBA has already successfully performed its explosive musical show in Australia, Belgium, Estonia, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Poland, Slovakia, Turkey, Ukraine, the United Kingdom, the USA, participated in such famous festivals as Glastonbury, Eurosonic, Waves, Positivus, Zorlu Jazz Festival, etc.
The ensemble's new acclaimed concert program "Bach Against The Machine" fuses ideas from two sources: the immovable rock of Johann Sebastian Bach and one of the world's most influential rock-metal bands from Los Angeles, Rage Against The Machine. This evening is a unique opportunity to experience how these two poles, two contrasting worlds polemize, contrast, deny, assert, contradict, declare!... And not at all angrily (Rage - English anger, fury), but in the emotional and incendiary language of music and performers a special mood is created.
