In 2011, cellist Valters Puce created the group DAGAMBA. He was also joined by his childhood friend, cellist Anton Trotsyuk. After a couple of years of experimenting with different musical styles and instruments, they met the pianist Daini Teni. In 2016, drummer Artūrs Jermaks joined the band. The youngest member of the group, double bassist Alice Broka, joined in 2020.DAGAMBA combines different musical cultures, creating a unique and special sound. The musicians boldly venture into unexplored worlds of music, which gives the performance unique dynamism and vitality. The band's music arranged by Valters Pučes and Daiņš Tenis is equally impressive - be it a piece by Beethoven or a fragment from "Led Zeppelin". DAGAMBA's performance is a mix of rock, pop, world and classical music.Over the years, DAGAMBA has performed in 15 different countries (USA, Austria, Australia, Belgium, Estonia, Kazakhstan, Russia, Latvia, Great Britain, Lithuania, Netherlands, Poland, Slovakia, Turkey, Ukraine).
