On September 16, at 6 p.m., Vilnius University (VU) St. In St. John's Church, three VU choirs - "Virgo", "Gaudeamus" and "Pro Musica" - together with their colleagues from the University of Latvia, will present the repertoire of the centenary of the Lithuanian Song Festival in the opening concert of the season "Kur giria žaliuaja...".

In the concert program, three VU choirs will perform the program of the centenary of the Song Festival to be held in 2024, and guests from the University of Latvia - the choir "Jubilate" - will perform the program of the 150th anniversary of the Latvian Song Festival. At the end of the concert, the collectives will join together in a joint choir for joint works, thus creating an atmosphere of cooperation, unity and brotherhood.
