The performance is based on J. Beniusevičiūtė's Žymantienė-Žemaitė and G. Petkevičaitė-Bitė's play "Devil in a Trap". This play and M. Palionis' one-act comedy "Žilė galvon velnias uodegon" are the first performances that were performed publicly in Telšiai, on the second of August 1907, in the empty barracks on the shores of Mastis after Parciunkule's indulgence. The action of the play takes place in a peasant's yard, which may seem ordinary on the surface, but strange events keep happening in it - mishaps that are influenced by the characters' superstitious attitude towards strange occurrences. However, not all characters are superstitious, some just use exaggerated superstition. In addition to everyday tasks, hints of love, suspicion and raw emotions, there are detective elements that are developed throughout the play. The play is performed in the Samogitian dialect.
