Jesús Santandreu is one of Spain's most important jazz musicians. A saxophonist, composer and conductor, he is not limited to a jazz career. He began performing at the age of fourteen as a member of the Jove Jazz Band, where he is currently the artistic director. After studying in Spain, he moved to the United States, where he graduated with exceptional honors from the prestigious Berklee College in Boston.
Jesús Santandreu is a musician with extensive musical experience. He is a musician influenced by the post-Coltrane current of music and clearly inspired by musicians who followed John Coltrane's ideas and musical legacy. He has a great command of the instrument and can adapt to any context.
This time he will have to apply to perhaps one of the brightest and most interesting jazz collectives - No Name Jazz Fellas, who, although they playfully and ambiguously enjoy their obscurity, are still well known to every Lithuanian jazz listener.
