This is a new comedy by Australian playwright John Mist, revealing the 20th century. behind the scenes of middle America's beauty industry. In the center of the plot is a real historical figure, the lioness of the cosmetics business, Helena Rubinstein (1872–1965). She experienced an astonishing career leap from the scion of a poor Polish Jewish expatriate family to the world's leading cosmetics entrepreneur. Family conflicts and a fierce fight with competitors were intertwined in her fate. "Here, opponents throw down gauntlets of challenge to each other, baring their nail polish guns and smiling bloody lipstick smiles," - so in 2017. this comedy was introduced to the public by the British press.
The producer of the play is the famous Lithuanian film and theater director Raimundas Banionis, the music was created by the master of theater tunes Faustas Latėnas, the set design by the great artist Sergejus Bocullo, the costumes by the famous Lithuanian film, television and theater artist Daiva Petrulytė.
