On October 7-8, the Photography Weekend returns to the National Art Gallery.
This is the only such event in Lithuania, inviting visitors to the rich world of photography art for the third year.
Meetings with the most famous, already loved and undiscovered authors, a fair of photographic prints, the latest photography books and discussions - all under one roof.

Saturday:
1:00 p.m. Oksana Veniaminova (contemporary art market expert with a master's degree in contemporary art and collecting management) will give a lecture on "Collecting Photography",
2:15 p.m. Dr. Margarita Matulytė will give a lecture "Whatever the end of the world: landscape photography",
3:30 p.m. photographer and director Mindaugas Meškauskas will present the documentary film "XIX a. photographer's legacy" (duration 69 minutes), telling the story of Juzef Čechavičius - the most important photographer of the 19th century. Vilnius photographer and historical photographic processes. After the film, there will be a conversation - a discussion with the director.
On Sunday:
1:00 p.m. photographer Audra Vau (Audronė Vaupšienė) will present her work,
2:00 p.m. Svetlana Batura will present the study of the Giedraičiai family photo archive,
3:00 p.m. A presentation of Agnė Gintalaitė's work "Establishing a connection or photography as a subject" will take place. 2015-2017 series, methods, documentation and events'.
