Different manners of performance, different expressions, different themes of songs, but united by love and respect for the audience, talent and radiated energy. Favorite songwriters and performers of various generations will organize a meaningful, nostalgic and emotionally charged performance on the occasion of the day of the restoration of Lithuania's independence.
Director, actor, songwriter, teacher Aidas Giniotis considers himself a music lover since childhood. However, the nature of work meant that more often working time and part of free time have to be devoted to literature. Having staged many unforgettable performances in the "Keistulių teatre", "Atvirame rate", the State Šiauliai Drama Theater and other Lithuanian theaters, he is rightly considered a connoisseur of commedia dell'arte and a master of the comedic genre. That is why there is no shortage of playfulness, irony, and improvisation in his musical creations, and the audience willy-nilly gets involved in the performance.
Singing actor Oleg Ditkovskis has been delighting listeners with melodious, sensitive songs of his creation for many years. The well-known artist is well known to the public from his roles in theater and cinema and concerts with the group "Actors Trio", where he performed original songs with his colleagues Kostas Smorigins and Saulius Bareikis. For several years he performed with the "Love triangle" project, later - together with the artist Neda Malūnavičiūta. Currently, the artist rarely performs alone, and that is why he is very welcome and missed.
The laureate of the National Culture and Art Award, singing actor Vladas Bagdonas is preparing a somewhat different performance for the Kaunas audience. The audience will be treated to an unexpected duet - the maestro will be joined by the composer, pianist Audrius Balsys, and together they will present the "Bagdonian songs" program. It will feature both old, fan-favorite and completely new songs, expertly decorated with arrangements by composer A. Balsis. Music often went hand in hand with acting in the artist's life: during his studies, later working with composers Vygantas Telksnias and Alvydas Jegelevičius. However, when talking about his musical performances, V. Bagdon tends to be ironic: "I'm not a musician. I'm an artist playing a concert."
