Monoplay based on O. Tokarczuk's novel "Runaways" Nobel laureate Olga Tokarczuk's novel "The Fugitives" is a multi-layered work, a journey through time, the world and layers of consciousness. The title of the novel refers to a sect of ancients who believed that only movement, swimming against the current protects against evil. Tokarczuk does not demystify thinking and the world, but rather immerses the reader in the mystery, the very fog of the world in which a person wanders, and thus the multi-layered work expresses itself with a certain transcendental force that does not reject the meaning of subjectivity.Undoubtedly, the existential text has inspired creators of different theater generations to create a chamber performance that explores this through the intimate presence of one woman with herself, trying to grasp the ever-changing mindset that, although finite, is inevitably changing until the very end, never silent and moving from one point to another. the other It is a journey of the imagination through the structures of domesticity and being, observing them through the small lens of consciousness.
