A young woman goes to Eastern Ukraine in search of documentary material about the war, but there, in the gray zone near the border, she becomes a hostage to her own and other stories.
She lives these stories as if in the kingdom of crooked mirrors, where good and evil are side by side, where victim and tormentor change roles, and love becomes fleeting and elusive.
