The one-man play "DIAGNOSIS: VISIŠKAS RUDNOSIUKAS" (or - "I came, I saw it, I couldn't") is based on director and writer Vytautas V. Landsbergi's first book of stories and anecdotes, "Rudnosiuk Stories", which was awarded as the best children's book of that year, but don't be fooled, this show is for adults.
Aren't you sometimes threatened by Rudnosiuk? What are its symptoms, how to diagnose it, treat it, etc. Tula's Rudnosiuk is looking for answers to these and many other questions, traveling through eras - from the prehistoric times of Vytė Nemunėlis, through the Soviet era, occupations, exiles to the very present day.
"Rudnosiuk is the kind of easy madness that I would wish for every person. It is a childhood that is not scary to keep as an adult. It is actually a point of contact with your childhood, which you always carry with you, although sometimes you have hidden it deep inside yourself, seduced and buried it. However, you should not forget what was good for you in your childhood, what supported you, because it also supports you when you live a simple everyday life as an adult." - says one of the actors from the play Rudnosiukkas - actor Dalius Skamarakas.
"The ax matched the head" - as the Rudnosiuk folk proverb says. We hope that this performance will also meet your expectations and needs and open a new page on the dusty childhood bookshelf.
