November 30 we invite you to spend a cozy evening with the Lithuanian Symphony Wind Orchestra and performers Mary Mo (Marija Monika Dičiūnė) and Rafail Karpis. In the music club "Tamsta", this tandem of performers together with the orchestra will present a new program "Gershwin in Soul", which will be played for the first time, in which there is a soul-style arrangement of George Gershwin's opera "Porgy and Bess". How does the famous "Summertime" sound, interpreted by these great performers, known on the Lithuanian scene?

The program will be complemented by other pieces reminiscent of the origins of G. Gershwin's own music - the blues. Selections of songs by contemporary artists such as D. Springfield will be played, which will unexpectedly be complemented by musical arrangements by baroque composers, G. F. Hanedli and H. Purcell. The program will be conducted by the artistic director and conductor of the Lithuanian Symphony Wind Orchestra, Leif Karlsson (Sweden).
