A solemn and festive concert dedicated to the German and English Baroque composer Georg Friedrich Händel (1685-1759). Unlike many other famous composers, Handel enjoyed universal acclaim during his lifetime. The popularity of his music continues to this day. In addition to his magnificent orchestral works "Water music" and "Firework music", the concert will also feature his other opuses, in which the Lithuanian Symphony Wind Orchestra will be joined by the Japanese soloist Yo Otahara (soprano), the harpsichordist Vaiva Storastienė, and the boys' and young people's choirs "Varpelis" and "Dagilėlis".
