(M)eilės in (m)eilės - a long-awaited performance by the AURA dance theater and the New Ideas chamber orchestra NIKO, inspired by the work and poems of the well-known expatriate artist Aldona Gustas. This is a joint project about the search for identity, the secrets of relationships and eternity.

In "(M)eilės (m)eilės" the live music of the composer Gediminas Gelgot and the movement of the dancers led by the director Birutė Letukaitė are intertwined.

Kaunas Dance Theater AURA is a professional dance theater that has accumulated great dance experience over 40 years of creative activity and achieved international recognition. in 1980 the theater was founded by Birutė Letukaitė, a former dancer, now a well-known choreographer and dance teacher.

NIKO chamber orchestra of new ideas is a reflection of composer G. Gelgot's creative visions. The creative process does not end when the music is written down, but continues in the hands of the composer as a performer. NIKO's concept is a musical language that mixes the style of classical music with the influence of popular music, thus NIKO balances between experimental, minimalist, contemporary art and more conventional, popular forms of music.
