NEW IN THE KINGDOM OF MUSIC
Spend New Year's Eve in the old capital of Lithuania. December 31, 7 p.m. In the hall of the museum of the archaeological site of Kernavė, the works of foreign classical music authors and Lithuanian composers will be performed by the three sisters - Joana, Elena and Kotryna-Ugnė Daunyčiai.Three sisters, members of the family ensemble "Regnum Musicale" (lit. Kingdom of Music), will lead the listeners through the paths of the New Year's musical labyrinth with three classical musical instruments and help them find the way out with the sound of fifty-five strings. A boundless bouquet full of bright thoughts and healing, uplifting, mesmerizing, bewitching music will unfold at the music feast of the three sisters Joana, Elena, Kotryna Ugnė Daunyčiai in Kernave. In the "Kingdom of New Music" program, the pearls of classical music by foreign authors will intertwine with the opus of Lithuanian composers, creating an uninterrupted braid of musical thought. It will spread easily above each of us, ready to allow ourselves to walk through the magical winter labyrinths, the white paths of the hills, leading to boldly and fieryly meet the year of the green dragon.Harp, violin and cello - these are the instruments that skillfully manage, the musicians will create a festive mood. Thanks to their artistic imagination, while communicating with each other and at the same time creating an immediate connection with the audience, they will intriguingly look for various answers from the world of music (and not only). Regnum Trio is unique not only in that it has sisters playing music, but also in that it has a unique instrument in its composition - the harp, thanks to which the performers have the opportunity to include works of a wider variety of genres in their repertoire, to present arrangements of classical opuses that sound in the new color of the timbre of the harp .The sisters are laureates of international competitions and Grand Prix winners.
The performers are recognized as professional musicians in their field not only in Lithuania, but also abroad. They were invited to organize a series of concerts in the United States of America, participated in the classical music festival "Festival Classique dela Madeleine" in Geneva (Switzerland), at the World Harp Congress held in Hong Kong, they were invited to perform a unique program, and at the international competition of chamber ensembles with harp "Concurso Ibérico" ( Madrid, Spain) was awarded the first prize. For these and many other merits of international importance, the sisters were repeatedly thanked by the presidents of the Republic of Lithuania, Valdas Adamkaus and Dalia Grybauskaitė, for their musical achievements and the promotion of Lithuania's name abroad. Regnum Trio also prepares educational programs, the aim of which is to bring listeners of all ages closer to the art of classical music and to foster love for music not only through listening to it, but also through active participation in the educational process. The ensemble performs both classical, popular and ethnic music, and improvises.The participants of the New Year's celebration will also have the opportunity to visit the exhibition of the Kernavė Museum, as well as the impressive exhibition of archaeologist-jeweler Evaldos Babens "Unique 13th - 14th century.
