Based on Violeta Palčinskaitė's book "What did the dance hall do"
Premiere in Vilnius!
The duration of the concert is 1 hour.
Songwriter and performer, multiple festival participant and good friend Vygantas Kazlauskas prepared a great gift for the festival's birthday - a musical joke based on Violeta Palčinskaitė's book "What did the dance hall do"!
A dozen short dances with different rhythms, from polka to rock'n'roll, featuring various characters from an ant to a hippopotamus, humorously reflect the relationships between people today. The spectacle is intended for children, but it is also suitable for adults who want to have fun. Mikas Mikoliūnas will play the bass guitar together with Vygantas at the premiere.
To implement the idea, the author invited dance ensembles and performers even from other parts of Lithuania:
"Kauškutis" folk dance studio for children and youth of Mažeikiai Choreography School,
Klaipėda dance studio "D&D",
Klaipeda Lyceum dance group "Credo".
The dancers promise to involve the audience in a playful frenzy, and they will be assisted by young actors from the Vilnius Teachers' Home Theater "BATS". We invite you to turn to the rhythm of dance and poetry together.
