The performance "The Raven" is a performance of the commedia dell'arte genre. In the performance "Varnas" - characteristic characters, masks, comedy, intrigue, music, actors' improvisation, conversations with the audience, ironic criticism of social problems and culture, metaphors, philosophy, human psychology, original costumes and scenography by the artist of the Keistuolių Skrebūnaitė, Keistuųli's Theater young the troupe of actors and, of course, the theater actors - veterans of the stage. On the stage you will also see the director of the play Aidas Giniotis and the beloved actors of the Theater of Strangers Dalias Skamarakas and Vaidotas Žitkas.
The plot of this mystical play is about how King Milo shoots a bewitched raven and hears a curse prophesied to him, thus condemning himself and his brother to Gennar's incredible trials. After all, we all have experienced the feeling when it seems that we were at the wrong time, in the wrong place, in the wrong circumstances, did the wrong thing and messed up our lives. It is already the case that every work we have done in the past has consequences in the future, and in order to correct something, a person must at least mentally return to the time and place where all his misfortunes began. In the finale, if a person does not break down, remains faithful to his beliefs, fights for love and his neighbor, then he is rewarded for his suffering, patience and sacrifice. And where can we express all this more visually and play with human feelings and destiny, if not in the theater, if not in the theater of commedia dell'arte.
