Juozas Vaičkaus Flying Theater presents an experimental performance in an immersive format, which is characterized by the involvement of the audience, in non-traditional spaces, and the activation of various senses.
V. Shakespeare's comedy "A Midsummer Night's Dream" blurs the boundaries between past and future, dream and reality, audience and actors, stage and podium. This interactive form of performance aims to create a more intimate connection with the audience and promote a sense of community. The movement of the audience in space, the minimalist scenography, the play of music and lights enchant the immersion participants and activate their imagination.
The plot of the play tells in a modern way about the confusing love adventures of four lovers in the forest, about the interaction of a group of immature actors with the Duke of Athens Theseus and the Queen of the Amazons Hippolyta, about fairies and forest spirits that messed up all the cards.
