About the Museum The "Nacionalinis M. K. Čiurlionio Muziejus", located in Druskininkai, is one of the most important cultural and art centres in Lithuania. It was founded to honour one of the country's most famous artists and composers, Mikalojus Konstantinas Čiurlionis, whose work encompasses both music and painting. The museum was officially opened in 1963, although its origins date back to 1921, when the Čiurlionis Museum was established.
