About the Collective The classical dance collective "Nuotaika", founded in Vilnius in 1985 by ballet teacher Olga Tamašauskienė, originally operated as a small ballet group. Over the years, it grew into a classical dance studio, and later, in 2001, into a choreography school, opening its doors to children and young people from 5 to 17 years old. The school teaches a wide range of dance styles, from classical ballet to contemporary dance, including Lithuanian folk, historical and character dance and dance history.  Achievements and Grades "Nuotaika" is a laureate of national and international festivals and has won recognition for its high artistic quality and originality. The dancers of the company have performed in famous venues around the world, including Moscow, St. Petersburg, Toulouse, Riga, Jurmala and even the Venice Carnival. In addition, "Nuotaika" actively participates in charity concerts and the Vilnius Schoolchildren's Arts Festival, and has been repeatedly awarded for its outstanding contribution to cultural life.  In 2009 and 2010, the group won the 1st prize at the International TV Children and Youth Festival "Debiute 2009" and the 1st prize at the 11th International Children and Youth Festival "Light Up Your Star" in Moscow.  Education and Training The school "Nuotaika" not only provides high-level dance training, but also issues certificates of completion of the school of additional education in the form prescribed by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Lithuania. This gives students not only an excellent dance education, but also official recognition.  Mission and Values "Nuotaika" aims to produce not only technically accomplished but also artistically educated dancers who are able to adapt to different dance genres and companies around the world. The school is a community built on the principles of mutual respect, care and support, where each student is encouraged to explore their individuality and creativity through the art of dance.
