City laboratory

The conceptual team of "City Laboratory" gathered in "Antakalnis Garden" - this is an urban horticultural initiative that still exists in Sapiegi Park, Antakalny. For the first year, we grew tomatoes together in the community greenhouse, we became friends, we realized that we share similar values and interests - community, love of nature, ideas of a more sustainable and environmentally friendly lifestyle. We started organizing various open and educational events for the local community - Neighbors' Day, Harvest Festival, Restaurant Day, Christmas wreath weaving workshops, and finally - the Christmas Fair in Sapiegi Park. We quickly realized that we are a strong team and can do something more. We started to dream - what about a communal cafe, what about a center that promotes smart sustainable and environmentally friendly ideas. Finally, we put all our dreams into one, which today is the "City Laboratory".
