In 1987–1991, he studied at the Lithuanian State Conservatory (currently the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theater) with Dalia Tamulevičiūtė, Algirdas Latėnas, Remigijas Vilkaitės, and obtained a specialty in acting.In 1990, he studied at the Juilliard School of Art (The Juillard School) in New York.In 1991-1993, he acted in the theater "Šiaurės Atėnai".Since 1995, he has been working at the Lithuanian State Academic Drama Theater (now the Lithuanian National Drama Theatre).
