in 1985 graduated from the Lithuanian State Conservatory, majoring in acting. in 2002 degree from the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C., from the Vilar Institute of Arts Management.
1983-1989 was the director of the Kaunas Drama Theater, 1989-2000. - Actor of the National Drama Theater.
1994-2000 interned in Salzburg, Dutch Theater Institute, Australian Performing Arts Fair. 1995-1997, 1999 worked as technical director of the international theater festival LIFE, later as manager, project manager, assistant director of the "Meno fortas" theater. T. Čižas is a freelance film and theater actor.
1995-1999 played dir. In the performances of E. Nekrošius: A. Pushkin's "Mozart and Salieri", A. Chekhov's "Three Sisters" (LIFE), F. Dostoevsky's "Idiot" ("Fort of Art"), in the international project "Ragnarok" (Denmark), translated and famous film texts for the BTV channel.
