In 1989 he graduated from the Vilnius Conservatory, in 1993–94 he studied at Akademie Schloss Solitude in Stuttgart, in 2005–07 – at the Vilnius College, in 2012 he graduated from the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theater (R. Kabel's class); studied academic creativity and jazz. 1995–99 taught at the M. K. Čiurlionis Arts Gymnasium, 1998–2003 at the Vilnius Choral Singing School in Liepaitė, since 2003 he has taught at the B. Dvarions Decade Music School, and since 2011 at the Music Academy of the Vytautas the Great University; associate professor (2018).
