in 2002 graduated from Kaunas Jesuit High School, 2006. – cultural management (bachelor's degree) at the Faculty of Humanities of Vilnius University, Kaunas, 2008. – UNESCO Cultural Management and Cultural Policy studies at the Vilnius Academy of Arts (master's degree). She is the winner of several vocal competitions, sang in the rock operas Saulės žimė and Ugnies živkle su varova. She works as a print and television culture journalist.
in 2006 after winning the "First Book" manuscript competition of the Lithuanian Writers' Union, I. Valantinaitė made her debut with the collection of poems "Zuvim ir lelijom", which conveys the emotional feelings, tensions and experiences of the subject - a young woman.
The second book of poems "Tales about love and other animals" (2011) conveys the authenticity of love feelings. In this collection, the experiences of modern man are uniquely and unexpectedly interwoven with poetic paraphrases of fairy tales and motifs of legends.
In her third book, "Short Films" (2017), the author invites the reader to an imaginary cinema, where you can watch the characters on the screen of your imagination from the side. The velvet cover of the book reminds us of the feeling when we touch the chairs covered with this material while watching a movie in the cinema.
I. Valantinaitė identifies the fourth book of poems "Apsiautusios saule" (2020) as a confession of love for God, man, and the world and calls it her most personal work. This collection is included in the list of the most creative 2020 collected by the Institute of Lithuanian Literature and Folklore. twelve books. Valantinaitė is also the author of the trilingual selection of contemporary Lithuanian poets "From Northern Jerusalem" (Poetinis Druskininkų ruduo, 2020).
