Born in 1937 in Šiauliai. in 1954 graduated from Pasvalis secondary school (silver medal), 1959 - Faculty of Physics and Mathematics of Vilnius University. 1959-1962 studied at the Vilnius Conservatory (currently the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre), at the Department of Acting Mastery (course manager Irena Vaišytė). 1962-1963 Kapsukas (now Marijampolė) drama theater. 1963-1967 Kaunas State Academic Drama Theatre, 1967 - 2002. Actor of the Lithuanian National Drama Theaters. Since 2002 Regimantas Adomaitis became a freelance actor and played in various theaters. The last roles were created in the Small theater of Vilnius.
