Actress Aldona Janušauskaitė-Dausienė studied at the Lithuanian Conservatory in the Department of Acting Mastery (course director Juozas Rudzinskas) in 1962-66. Actress of the Lithuanian Academic Drama Theater since 1966 (Lithuanian National Drama Theater since 1998), from 2004 to 2009 and the Vilnius State Small Theater. A lot of A. Janušauskaitė's voice is in the Lithuanian radio funds. Dozens of performances, readings of works by Lithuanian and foreign authors from the column "Evening with a book". She is one of the brightest actresses of the older generation, who created dozens of memorable roles, and in 1976 she was awarded the title of Lithuania's Meritorious Artist. For the role of Mrs. de Montrej in the play Marquisė de SAD (dir. J. Vaitkus), the actress was awarded the Kristoforos Award and was chosen as the best actress of the 1992-1993 Lithuanian theater season.
