Lithuanian film, television and theater actor, photographer, diplomat. Studied at Švėkšna secondary school. 1973 graduated from Vilnius University Faculty of Law. 1981 graduated from advanced film directing courses in Moscow.
Since 1965 film actor. 1979-1989 Kaunas Drama Theater actor. 1989-1996 Chairman of the Lithuanian Theater Union. 1996-2010 Cultural attaché of the Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania in the Russian Federation.
