1982-1986 studied drama theater actor specialty at the Lithuanian State Conservatory (course manager Irena Vaišytė).
1986-1991 worked at the Lithuanian State Philharmonic "Dainos Teatre". 1989 together with actors Aidas Giniotis and Sigutis Jačėnas, he founded "Keistuolių teatras", in which he still plays.
