Lithuanian jazz musician (saxophonist, multi-instrumentalist), composer, teacher, producer. Plays alto, tenor, soprano, baritone saxophone, bass clarinet, keyboards, and other instruments.
In 1986, he graduated from the Lithuanian Conservatory (V. Čekasins saxophone class). 1986-88 Rudamina secondary school, since 1994 B. Dvarionas music school teacher. 2000–01, a lecturer at the Lithuanian Academy of Music. In 2002-05, together with others, he organized the Vilnius Mama Jazz festival. In 1987, he founded the recording studio Saxbassa Records.

The inventive musician, who is equally adept at both acoustic and electric bass, complements his timbral palette with electronic accessories, trumpet, percussion instruments and voice. His playing is distinguished by harmonic and polyphonic thinking, and his work leans towards a unique philosophy of music, which is especially evident in his sacred jazz projects.
