1971-1975 studied at the State Conservatory (course managers Dalia Tamulevičiūtė and Irena Bučienė). Since 1984 Member of the Communist Party While studying, he began to compose songs based on the words of Lithuanian poets, becoming one of the creators of a new genre of acting songs (singing poetry). 1995-1998 together with actors Saulius Bareikis and Oleg Ditkovskis formed the "Actors Trio", performed in Lithuania and abroad, released several albums ("Mūsų kaime", "Tikras garsas", "Vēl kartu" again). Since 2000 started holding solo concerts, released two CDs ("Citizen", "Ponai ir Ponios").
