Awarded with the thanks of the presidents of Lithuania for the wins in the international contests of young performers: in 2006 Managed by Adamkaus, and in 2013 – Dalias Grybauskaitė.
Since 2012 G. Vaznys conducts the wind orchestra of Kaunas J. Gruodis Conservatory, with which he participates in Kaunas city and republican song festivals and festivals, and is a regular participant of the "Let's Go to Kaunas" festival. With this orchestra in 2013 In the championship of Lithuanian brass bands, he won II, and in 2018 III places. When in 2017 with the Kaunas Wind Instrument Orchestra "Ėuolynas" in the same championship, he won first place and was elected the best conductor, and was appointed the leader of this orchestra. As a conductor, G. Vaznys has prepared programs with the Lithuanian Symphony Wind Orchestra "Trimitas", the Chamber Orchestra of the Vytautas Didios University, the Juoz Naujalis Gymnasium Symphony Orchestra, the Kaunas City Symphony Orchestra, cooperates with children's and youth orchestras (Jurbarkos, Kaišiadorių, Vilkaviškis, etc.) , raising their mastery.
