Janine Jansen from Soest is a Dutch violinist.
Janine Jansen comes from a family of musicians. His father, an organist, also plays the harp and piano. He is the Utrecht St. Martin's Cathedral organist and knight of the Nassau Order of Orange. Her mother is an opera singer. His brother David is a harpist and organist. His other brother, Maarten, is a cellist. Finally, their uncle Peter Kooy is an opera singer (bass).
Janine started studying the violin at the age of six. She then studied with Coosje Wijzenbeek, Philippe Hirshhorn and Boris Belkin.
Jansen made his public debut in 1997. with the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam and has since become famous in his country and in 2003. received the Dutch Music Prize of the Ministry of Culture in September. Her performances in 2006 Berlin's Waldbühne, with the Philharmonic Orchestra in front of 25,000 spectators and in 2008 Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles, where she played to sold-out crowds, expanded her fame as an international violinist.
