He graduated from the piano class at the Anykščiai Children's Music School. He sang in a school children's choir, later in a mixed choir, played in a band of scuduit players, a brass band. in 1980 laureate of the "Dainų dainelė" contest for young singers. in 1991 graduated from the Lithuanian Conservatory and studied at the summer academy "Mozarteum" (Salzburg).
While studying at the Lithuanian Conservatory in 1988. sang in the Lithuanian State Choir "Vilnius", 1988-1990. – Lithuanian folklore theater artist. Since 1991 Kaunas Musical Theater soloist, theater manager's assistant for troupe matters. Since 1995 Lecturer at the Kaunas Faculty of the Lithuanian Academy of Music (Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theater since 2004). Since 2011 Vytautas Magnus University Music Academy associate professor, head of the Singing Department, a little later - professor. From 2022 Director of Kaunas boys' choral singing school "Varpelis".
He performed in European countries. He performed religious music works with the Kaunas Musical Theater Orchestra and Choir, the Kaunas State Choir, the Lithuanian State Symphony Orchestra, and the Lithuanian Chamber Orchestra.
