Since 2011, he has been teaching at the Vytautas Magnus University Music Academy; associate professor (2012). 2007–12 Chairperson of the Kaunas branch of the Lithuanian Composers' Union, 2009–17 Chairperson of the Lithuanian Composers' Union. In 1998, together with violinist I. Klusaite, he founded the hot modern music ensemble Collegium. In 2002 and 2004 he composed at the international creative workshop in Oslip (Austria), in 2003 at the international composers' center in Visby.
