Born on 10 February 1932 in Šiauliai. Died 27 04 2015 in Vilnius.
1951-1956 - studied Lithuanian language and literature at Vilnius University. After graduating he worked in the Vilnius Trade Union Culture Club, the magazine "Tarybinė kobieta", and the music and literature department of the Lithuanian Radio and Television Committee. Journalist, art critic. Since 1962, he has worked for more than three decades in cultural and educational work in the "Švyturi" magazine, was the head of the culture department, and published about 400 articles on culture.
