Born on 02.11.1923 in Kaunas. Died 03 05 2014 in Florida, USA.
Daughter of Juozas Tūbelis, Prime Minister of Lithuania between the wars. In 1940, she and her family fled to the USA. Studied art history at the University of Michigan and the University of Chicago. While preparing for her master's degree in art history, she became interested in painting, which she studied in New York and Washington. While still an undergraduate, she participated in several group art exhibitions in New York. In 1968, she and her husband moved to Taiwan and in 1971 to Japan. Returning to America in 1984, she lived in St. Louis, where she lived for two years. After returning to America in 1984, she settled in St. Petersburg, Florida. She published prose, journalism and memoirs in "Dirva", "Drauge" and "Motery".
