Born on 05 09 1973 in Druskininkai.
1973-1991 lived in Kaunas, since 1991 lives in Vilnius.
Graduated from Vilnius University with a Bachelor's degree in Sociology and from Central European University in Warsaw with a Master's degree in Sociology. In 2000, he completed a fellowship at the New School University in New York. In 2003 he defended his PhD in Social Sciences at the Polish Academy of Sciences.
