in 1980 graduated from Vilnius University in journalism. 1980-1989 worked at the Lithuanian Photographic Art Society, 1992-1993. in the weekly "Amžius", 1994-1995 in the weekly "Kalba Vilnius", 2005-2008 in the magazine "Istorijos", he writes texts for "Northern Athens". Wrote 250 articles on various topics, including photography.
